Germany designer Michael Michalsky introduced a new show concept during the Berlin Fashion Week and we were cordially invited to be part of the evening.
On 22 January 2010, Michael Michalsky launched his new show concept: the Michalsky StyleNite, offering German designers a different perspective in fashion presentation. Michalsky already surprised his audience in 2007 when he introduced his first own collection in Berlin's City Hall. Since then his fashion shows have been the highlight of the Berlin Fashion Week and the talk of town. Like no other designer, Michalsky astonishes the fashion scene every season with unconventional locations and complex sceneries. His credo is: Real clothes for real people.
The Michalsky StyleNite is about combining successful German fashion under one roof: three fashion shows, one event, all highlighted with music entertainment. Additionally, the StyleNite is meant to be a platform for visitors to exchange and discuss ideas, make new contacts and experience the products at first hand.
We were cordially invited to the happening and not only us, when Michalsky calls the entire Germany high society collective arrives to celebrate with him. As special music performance Michalsky brought the cult band Spandau Ballet to entertain with the crowd of 2000 guests with their enigmatic song of the 80s: Gold.
