Frost Birgens Copenhagen is a creative and inspiring company co-owned by the ambitious trio Jakob Birgens, Simon Hepworth and Christian Kjaer. They are aiming to develope a company with the perfect mix of creativity, professional and structured working procedures. Jakob Birgens began his designer career in the Latin district of Aarhus, designing clothes for friends and loyal customers who found their way through a back yard up a fire escape, in to his workshop. Jakob has always been a creative fiery soul and his designs are based on own creative ideas inspired by his surroundings and a variety of artists and icons such as Leonard Cohen, Rei Kawakubo, Peter Lindbergh, Hemingway, Bob Dylan and many more. In the fall of 2007 Jakob started Frost Birgens with the first collection being SS08.
In the spring of 2009 Simon Hepworth og Christian Kjaer joined Frost Birgens as investors, co-owners and business developers. Christian and Simon started off by securing sound finances and have taken the company’s way of operating to much higher standards, drawing on their experience from yearlong business careers. This has been the beginning of the new era.
Today, Frost Birgens Copenhagen is a creative and inspiring company co-owned by Jakob Birgens, Simon Hepworth and Christian Kjaer.
