Qompendium is an evolving and ever-changing platform for philosophy, art, culture and science, represented by a series of print publications: magazines, books and monographs. Furthermore, it is enriched by a gallery concept, a work shop and a fast-moving online portal.
Display is a curated collection of important graphic design books, periodicals, advertisements and ephemera. Established in 2009, Display intends to build a digital graphic collection (from original materials) which generates inspiration and awareness about modern, mid 20th century graphic design history and some of its pioneers.
Display is organized, designed and maintained by Kind Company, an independent web and print design office in Brooklyn, New York. They are also responsible for the Alvin Lustig Archive. Partners - Greg D’Onofrio and Patricia Belen - are practicing designers, graphic design history enthusiasts and collectors. Here is a selection of ephemera that the Qompendium Crew has selcted for you.
