Qompendium is an evolving and ever-changing platform for philosophy, art, culture and science, represented by a series of print publications: magazines, books and monographs. Furthermore, it is enriched by a gallery concept, a work shop and a fast-moving online portal.
The official German–Japanese relations started with first ambassadorial visits in 1860. Ina Yamaguchi and Moritz Firchow followed history and founded deutsche & japaner studio in 2008. Both partners are not only ambitious in the fields of graphic design, product design, illustration, scenography and branding strategies but also well known for their platform for young and aspiring creatives: Arcademi.
Ina Yamaguchi studied Industrial Design at the School of Design of Pforzheim University.
Moritz Firchow studied communcation design at the Department of Design at University of Applied Sciences Mannheim and graduated at MAS Scenography / Design2context at ZHdK Zurich.
