Qompendium: Your job in 20 words ...
Thibaut Robin: I try to diversify the fields of investigations, to develop my thinking in different dimensions.
Every order has a potential if people with whom we work trust us.

Your personal style signifier is ...
The picture as a "punchline"

How would your girl friend describe you ...
I imagine as a sensitive guy, sometimes a little bit borderline ...

How would your PA describe you ...
"Could you repeat the question?"

When do you turn your Mac, iPod, iPhone off?
If you want to make me cry ask me about my iPhone again...
At this time it should be located between Barbes Rochechouart and Pigalle.

What is the smartest graphic you have ever created?
Still looking for it.

The first font you would use on any assignment is ...
I have big problems in using fonts that others created. I'm not a typograph, but designing it myself give me the feeling I speak with my voice. The aim is to make it unique and not "international". The era of the modernist utopia is socialy over.

The best trick on photoshop is ...
These times it was "aerograph".

A poster you would hang on your wall ...
It's difficult to live with a poster. Finally I prefer to let my wall blank.

The last meal that truly impressed you ...
Penne with "petit Billy" cheese, red pepper and slices of cured ham mixed very simple, excellent.

The last CD you purchased and would buy again ...
Last album I liked was "Totem flares" by Clark, last Fourtet album was great too ...

The graphic that truly impressed you ...
From the first peek i was fascinated by the work of Mathias Schweizer I like the work of Jean-Marc Ballée too even if it become's rare.

Ancient history thrills you because ...
Science and technology change faster than human organization (in the sense of an organ) and to look back doesn't mean to regress. For example I was impressed by a documentary giving a new crazy hypothesis about the interpretation of prehistoric painting by Chantal Jègues-Wolkiewiez. Since the first Homo Sapiens the intellectual capacity is nearly the same but the progress expected to ease concerns have led people to live in new conditions and solve new problems again and again even as we like it or not questioning burns inside. This is why it is important to know that before us more or less benevolent spirits have built the world in which we sit to best understand what is happening.

The United States is ...
The most important freak's factory.

United Kingdom is ...
A place where people drive in the wrong way.

Money is ...
a bitch :)

Art is ...
A way to experience the world

Your ultimate addiction ...
If you have an addictive behaviour, everything that give you pleasure can leads to an addiction. those times it was South-Park because I
prejudices it before...

A recent discovery of yours is ...
The baked beans and pork sausages of 'heinz" I have the feeling to be a cowboy when I eat this "Walt Disney" meal with a wooden spoon ...

The last thing you bought and hated ...
It's still about food... have you heard about chinese hot sandwich with hamburger from outer space?

The next big thing is ...
Augmented reality? Every body earning the RSA?

The books on your bedside table are ...
Currently I have a book about the new age, javascript for dummies and an introduction to the psychology of C. G. Jung

Your personal items you never go on journeys without are ...
A pen and something like a sketchbook. Even if I don't draw anything I know that I would have the possibility.

The first thing you do when you enter a hotel room is ...
I discretly check if nobody has followed me.

Your favorite corner of the Internet is ...
I don't know. I find a lot of interesting things from bloggers ... Since shortly, I try to discover other sites  which is made possible thanks to translation tools that allows you to read with funny mistakes Russian, Asian, or Arab language.

Who shall be the next interviewee ...
I was thinking to a friend of mine. Thomas Bizzari aka the graphic designer unknown (in his own terms) He recently shown me some work of him and i felt the elegance and the expertise of old school graphic designer like Excoffon (maybe it's too much). His work doesn't reflect the same idea of the world i try to express but it's strong!

What else do you want to say?
Curious to see how this cycle is going to end and thanks Kimberly!
