Qompendium is an evolving and ever-changing platform for philosophy, art, culture and science, represented by a series of print publications: magazines, books and monographs. Furthermore, it is enriched by a gallery concept, a work shop and a fast-moving online portal.
“Tate Etc.” is the official print magazine of the museum Tate Modern and the publishers claim that it is the “largest art magazine in Europe”. The editors (Bice Curiger and Simon Gran), statement reads that they would like to manage to find an original approach to topics one thought one knew everything about. And behold, they have kept their promise for delivering contemporary and archival art content far away from typical museum catalogues and ephemera. The magazine caught our attention for its eloquent use of typography and clever art direction. You can also find parts of the publication online and read through the content, which we find a very reader friendly approach. “Tate Etc.” is published three times a year, in January, May and September and a must-have for the art collector.
