As part of Miles Davis’ Second Great Quintet, Hancock helped to redefine the role of a jazz rhythm section, and was one of the primary architects of the “post-bop” sound. Later, he was one of the first jazz musicians to embrace synthesizers and funk. Yet for all his restless experimentalism, Hancock’s music is often melodic and accessible; he has had many songs cross over and achieved success among pop audiences.

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Day, presently celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, has been an annual tradition in the United States since 1863.Thanksgiving was historically a religious observation to give thanks to God.
The feast consisted of fowl, venison, fish, lobster, clams, berries, fruit, pumpkin, and squash. William Bradford's note that, "besides waterfowl, there was great store of wild turkeys, of which they took many,"probably gave rise to the American tradition of turkey at Thanksgiving.
